About Us
Climate Transition 2100 CIC (CT2100) is a UK-registered, community-based climate solution hub. We are dedicated to developing inclusive, tech-enabled, and community-supported responses to local climate challenges. We work in partnership with groups disproportionately affected by climate impacts, including people with disabilities, the elderly, ethnic minority communities, and households facing energy poverty, to co-design practical tools that meet real, day-to-day needs.
The Role
We are seeking a passionate Climate Resilience Manager to lead the delivery of our resilience project in Birmingham. This role moves beyond simple advice, focusing on "neighbour-to-neighbour" action and physical home-maintenance improvements. You will oversee the full project lifecycle, from volunteer coordination to managing stakeholder dialogues.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and budget management of climate resilience initiatives.
Build and maintain partnerships with local stakeholders, including volunteer management.
Lead climate community dialogues and workshops to capture lived experiences and co-create home efficiency solutions.
Prepare publicity including publications, social media content, and promotional materials.
Compile project reports, impact stories, and qualitative data to evaluate project success.
The Candidate
Proven experience in project management within the non-profit, environmental, or community sectors.
Strong facilitation skills with a track record of engaging diverse communities.
Experience in cross-sectoral collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
A deep commitment to the principles of climate justice and equity.
Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends.
NEA City & Guilds Level 3 in Energy Awareness or equivalent experience in providing domestic energy advice.
Understanding of the Birmingham community landscape and support networks.
Fluency in one or more languages in addition to English, particularly those spoken within migrant communities in Birmingham, is an advantage.
